Integrations
Configure alert channels in the dashboard under Plan and alerts after you create an account. Same channels on every plan. Immediate alerts fire on miss or fail; digests are opt-in.
Default for every account. Alerts go to the email you signed up with. Verify that address before relying on delivery.
Signed HTTP webhook
- In the dashboard, paste your HTTPS endpoint URL and save.
- Copy the signing secret shown next to the field.
- On each alert, DidItCron POSTs JSON and signs the raw body with HMAC-SHA256. Reject requests that fail the signature check.

Two options. If both are set, Connect is used instead of the Incoming Webhook URL.
Incoming Webhook
- In Slack, create an Incoming Webhook for the channel you want.
- Paste the
hooks.slack.comURL into the dashboard and save.
Slack Connect
- In the dashboard, choose Connect to Slack (when OAuth is enabled for the site).
- Authorize the DidItCron app, then pick the channel to receive alerts.
Discord
- Open the Discord channel → Edit channel → Integrations → Webhooks → New Webhook.
- Copy the webhook URL, paste it in the dashboard, and save.
Microsoft Teams
- Create a Teams Incoming Webhook (or a Power Automate HTTP trigger) for the channel.
- Paste a URL on
*.webhook.office.comor*.logic.azure.cominto the dashboard and save.
Telegram
- Message @BotFather, create a bot, and copy the bot token.
- Add the bot to your group or start a chat with it.
- Get the chat id (numeric, or
@channelusername where that works). - Paste token and chat id in the dashboard. The token is stored encrypted.
PagerDuty
- In PagerDuty: Service → Integrations → add Events API v2.
- Copy the 32-character integration/routing key.
- Paste it in the dashboard. Keys are stored encrypted. Miss and fail send a trigger.
Daily digest
- In the dashboard, turn on daily digest (off by default).
- Once per day at 14:00 UTC, DidItCron sends a summary of that day's alerts to email and your other configured channels. Immediate alerts still fire when events happen.
What fires an alert
- Expected ping never arrived and grace expired
- Explicit /fail ping
Paused monitors do not alert. New monitors wait for the first success before the schedule is enforced.
